1. Overview

At TrendyStepBD we want you to be happy with your purchase. If the product doesn’t fit, is faulty, or you received the wrong item, you may request an exchange or return under the conditions below.


2. Eligibility & Timeframes

  • Exchange for size/colour: Available within 7 calendar days from the delivery date.

  • Return for refund: Available within 14 calendar days from the delivery date (if item is unused and in original condition).

  • Manufacturing defect / wrong item delivered: Report within 30 calendar days for return, exchange, or repair.

  • Final sale / non-returnable items: Clearance items, intimate wear (if hygiene sealed), personalized/custom-made items — non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect.


3. Condition Requirements

To be eligible for return/exchange:

  • Product must be unused, with original tags and packaging intact.

  • Proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or receipt) must be provided.

  • For defective items, please send clear photos/videos showing the defect.


4. How to Request a Return or Exchange

  3. Our team will confirm eligibility and give you the next steps (approval, return address, or in-store exchange instructions).

  4. Ship the item back (or visit the store for an in-person exchange) following the instructions.


5. Shipping Costs & Responsibilities

  • If return/exchange is due to our error (wrong item / manufacturing defect): TrendyStepBD will cover return shipping costs or arrange store pickup.

  • If return/exchange is for change of mind / wrong size chosen by customer: Customer pays return shipping unless otherwise agreed.

  • We recommend using a tracked courier — TrendyStepBD is not responsible for returned packages lost in transit if tracking is not used.


6. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed after we inspect the returned item and confirm it meets the policy conditions.

  • Refund method: same as original payment method wherever possible (bank transfer / card / mobile banking). If you paid cash on delivery, we may offer bank transfer or store credit depending on the case.

  • Refund timeline: 7–14 business days after we receive and accept the return (bank processing times may vary).


7. Exchanges (In-store & Online)

  • In-store exchange: Bring the original product, tags, and invoice to Shop 306, Level 03, Shimanto Square, Dhanmondi 2, Dhaka during store hours. If exchange item price differs, the difference must be paid or refunded.

  • Online exchange: Follow the return process above; once we receive and inspect the returned product, we will ship the replacement product. Customer pays any price difference where applicable.


8. Damaged During Delivery

  • Inspect packages on arrival. If packaging or product appears damaged, refuse delivery or accept and immediately contact us with photos. We will guide the next steps and arrange replacement or refund.


9. How Long Does the Inspection Take?

  • Once we receive the returned product, inspection typically takes 2–5 business days. We will notify you by phone or email with the result and next steps.
